The Next Chapter for Drexel Sailing

By 09/14/2016 Team News

With the retirement of our head coach Doug Brown, the team has taken time to reminisce about our previous seasons, and look into the future to envision what we will be. With a summer filled with planning and an extensive search for the right coach, we are ready for a very successful fall season.

We want to give a very warm welcome to our new coach Craig Prinski. He has a wealth of sailing experience to teach to our team and is a very connected sailor in the Philadelphia area. We will add a more extensive profile to the website. As our new coach, he is ready to bring the team to a new level of competitiveness. This coming weekend the team is hosting its annual Alumni Regatta which will be an excellent way for the team to introduce new sailors to old and the new coach to the workings of the team. Following the week we begin our first week of practice at the Corinthian Yacht club.

We have a very exciting season ahead of us with a lot of local regattas, and good competition. With another year of improvement, fun, and new friends ahead of us, we are ready.
